ABOUT US
Chang'e studio came together when health and fitness professionals Leanne Louglin and Sandra Brunner recognized they would be better working together as a whole. They saw the benefits of offering a place that encompasses all aspects of a healthy life and provides a supportive environment for growth and change. Both are well traveled and have been inspired by the places they've visited and lived. They wanted to create a place that is open to healing therapies from around the world; a place where they could bring their inspirations together in one place. Chang'e is from the Chinese Moon Goddess, who bestowed beauty upon her followers.
We are excited to announce that Seven Seeds Studio has moved to Chang'e, bringing a variety of
new yoga classes to Chang'e. Sheila Cullen, owner of Seven Seeds Studio, and us here at Chang'e,
felt that by integrating under one roof, the home community of
Leslieville would be better served and supported in living a more
balanced healthy and conscious lifestyle. You can read more about the Seven Seeds Yoga Program now offered at Chang'e here.

Kat Final
Kat has been practicing yoga for over 10 years, and what started out as a practice to increase flexibility and strength as a runner and dancer, became something so much more after suffering a severe back injury due to a car accident in 2001. On the road to recovery Kat was determined to prove doctors wrong when they told her she would never run or dance again. Through the use of chiropractic, massage therapy, homeopathy and yoga, Kat built herself back up again physically and spiritually. Over the years, her continuing spiritual evolution led her to complete her Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine at the Toronto School of Homeopathic Medicine in 2006 and eventually to Thailand, where she completed her Yoga Teacher Certification in March 2009 with shakti mhi of the Prana Yoga College based in Vancouver. Kat’s goal as a teacher is to help others realize their physical and spiritual potential by becoming more aware of their bodies and minds through the amazing practice of yoga. Her training in Classical Hatha Yoga emphasizes breath awareness, meditation and safety in the postures through correct body alignment. Kat’s compassionate, non-judgemental and humorous nature create a welcoming and fun atmosphere in which students of all levels will enjoy learning the art of yoga. BACK TO TOP |
