Intro to Pilates Reformer Mondays 7-8pm, September 13-October 4
The Pilates Reformer was designed by Joseph Pilates as a complement to the mat exercises. The reformer provides resistance and tension in a stable and safe way, while giving an effective work-out. The reformer helps to isolate the muscles, while sculpting the body - creating longer, leaner muscles. If you've ever wondered what the reformer can do, now is the time to find out. Taught by Larissa Stout.

Core Yoga - Tuesdays, 7-8am, September 14-October 5
The intention of this Hatha class is to focus your practice on your Core both physically and spritually. Using traditional postures and pranayama, learn how to use your centre and improve your balance, strength, endurance and alignment on and off your mat. Pilates Bootcamp Tuesdays and Thursdays 7-8pm, September 7-28 and September 9-30
Combines the principals of Pilates core stability and the traditional style of bootcamp training. Core stability is the very essence of Pilates technique. It refers to making your center - or your core - solid and strong. Pilates Bootcamp is a full body conditioning program, which will lengthen and strengthen your muscles and give you a cardio kick to go with it. Taught by Larissa Stout
This class is all outdoors and is weather dependent. Classes cancelled due to weather will be made up at a later date. |

Iyengar Yoga - all levels - Thursdays, 7-8:15am, September 9-30
This class is open to beginners and more advanced students who wish to review basics and develop a deeper understanding of Iyenger yoga practice. Students are assisted in working safely and appropriately at their current level. This is a practical class for developing your practice while enhancing your body awareness. Mom and Baby Yoga with Zahra Haji - Thursdays 1:45-3:00pm, September 9-30 and October 14-November 4
Each Yoga Mom and Zen Baby class includes postnatal yoga for physical conditioning, breathing exercises for mental and emotional balance, meditations for spiritual balance, baby yoga for baby's growth and bonding with mom. Taught by Zahra Haji. |

Intro to Pilates Mat Saturdays 12-1pm, September 18-October 9
This class is a must for anyone who has never taken Pilates - no matter what your fitness level. It's also for those of you that have attended a class or two, and felt lost, confused or unsure of how to do an exercise. We will focus on correct body alignment, flexibility, proper use of the abdominals, body awareness, and understanding cueing terminology. The class is gentle, and we progress slowly to ensure that a proper foundation is in place before progressing to the next level. Taught by Courtney Wood. |

Intro to Yoga - 4 week Beginner class - Sundays 12:15-2:00 pm, September 12-October 3
Fundamental yoga poses and principles are introduced and practiced, with focus on breathing techniques, proper alignment, safe physical execution, development of strength and range of motion. The integration of mind, heart, body and soul are emphasized. Modifications for individual needs and circumstances are taken into account. The class is ideal for both the yoga beginner and the practitioner wishing to review and renew yoga foundations.

Pilates4Men, September 11, 2-3pm (with social event afterwards)
Our Pilates4Babes was so much fun in the summer, but there was only one man in attendance! We've decided to call the men out for their own class. Come have fun, work out and support a charity, all at the same time! We'll also have some great raffle prizes available - including tickets to the Leaf/Senators Fans First game on September 21.
So please join us as we come together to raise funds for the Nzirambi Orphans Talent Development Centre in Kasese, Uganda. There are 77 children at the orphanage, most of whom are there because their mothers died in childbirth. Help us on the path to fulfilling the dream of sending them all to school, including post-secondary education or training. With the proceeds we hope to be able to raise enough money - $700 - to send one child to school for a year.
Class size will be small, so please let us know asap if you want to sign up.
